Search runs in your browser against the article list; search terms may appear in the page URL and ordinary server request logs when a URL is visited.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information needed to serve and protect the site. This may include IP address, browser information, request URLs, timestamps and security events. Cookies and local storage

Correspondence

Messages to our domain address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to an editorial Gmail inbox. Cloudflare and Google process the message and associated delivery data to provide these services.

If you contact us by email, your email address and the information you choose to send are used to deal with that enquiry. Do not include sensitive information unnecessary for your message. We do not sell correspondence or use it to add you to a marketing list.

Purposes and legal bases

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, operating and protecting this website and handling routine enquiries rely on legitimate interests.
